Day 01
Arrive in Auckland On arrival in Auckland seat in coach guests will be met and privately transferred to hotel. Self drive guests will collect a rental car and drive to the hotel. Staying: Auckland
Day 02
Auckland Sightseeing Auckland city tour and also visit Sky Tower. City Tour This half day morning or afternoon tour goes around the central city, experiencing many of its best and most scenic sights. Travel through the city centre and over the Auckland Harbour Bridge, enjoying views of the Hauraki Gulf and city skyline. Visit the Viaduct Harbour and revitalised waterfront precinct, the University of Auckland and the Auckland Domain.. Developed around an extinct volcano, it features tropical gardens, duck ponds and public art, and is also home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. Continue through the boutique shopping area of Parnell Village and along the scenic waterfront route of Tamaki Drive to Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park with its formal gardens and tranquil atmosphere, offering stunning views over the picturesque Eastern Bays, Auckland city and the Waitemata Harbour. Sky Tower The tallest man-made structure in New Zealand at 328 metres high. Prepare for breathtaking 360 degree views from the observation deck of this Auckland landmark. On a clear day it is possible to see as far as 80 kilometres in all directions – it's the perfect way to get to know the city of Auckland and its surroundings. Staying: Auckland
Day 03
Auckland To Rotorua Waitomo Glow worm Caves Travel south through the rolling green hills and lush pastureland of the Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the world-famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves with its weird and wonderful limestone formations and a magical boat ride under thousands of twinkling glowworms. On completion continue over the forested Mamaku Ranges to reach the ‘Thermal City’ of Rotorua. Staying: Rotorua
Day 04
Rotorua Te Puia including Maori performance, Geo Thermal Park tour at Wakarewarewa, Agrodome farm show This morning visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry, Geo Thermal Park tour at Wakarewarewa, and Maori Cultural Centre and dance Performance Concert. at Te Puia Thermal Reserve.
Day 05
Rotorua A free day at leisure to relax or enjoy more Rotorua has to offer. You can opt for mud and sulphur spa or rafting. Staying: Rotorua
Day 06
Rotorua to Queenstown Today is at leisure. Fly to Queenstown (airfare is NOT included); depending on the flight booked, enjoy some free time in Rotorua before departure or in Queenstown on arrival.
Day 07
Queenstown Enjoy the Milford Sound, do the Cruise and have Lunch on the cruise Milford Sound Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Milford Sound Cruise and Lunch Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown later today.
Day 08
Queenstown A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating, Sky Diving, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price.
Day 09
Queenstown Enjoy the Skyline Gondola to see the view from the top. Slyline Gondola A must-do Queenstown activity! Hop on board the Skyline Gondola and take in the stunning views as you ride the steepest cable car lift in the Southern Hemisphere! You’ll be carried 450 metres above Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu to the top of Bob's Peak, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular 220 degree panorama with breath-taking views of Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, Walter and Cecil Peak and, of course, Queenstown. When you get to the top, choose at your own pace from the host of family-friendly activities on offer. Take a thrilling downhill ride on the Skyline Luge, settle in for a relaxing evening with some of the best of NZ and international cuisine at Stratosfare Restaurant, or journey into the hidden world of the night sky with Skyline’s Stargazing experience - Skyline Queenstown has something on offer for everyone. Day 10
Queenstown to Franz Josef After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Franz Josef (Glacier Region) via Lake Wanaka and Fox Glacier town Departing Queenstown this morning, travel along the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea to the Haast Pass, gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Continue up the West Coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the glacier region of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. For self drive clients, entry to the Glacier Hot Pools (Franz Josef) is included.
Day 11
Franz Josef to Christchurch Travel north to Greymouth today and board the Tranz Alpine train (seat in coach guests only). Ascend through lush beech forests past the alpine village of Arthur’s Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps. Travel beside the Waimakariri River to Christchurch.
Day 12
Christchurch Today we shall do the city tour of Christchurch on the famous tram and Also enjoy the venice style boat ride on the Avon river. You can opt to visit the Antarctic center.
Day 13
Depart from Christchurch Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer or the return of your rental car. We trust you enjoyed
